This painting emerged from a darker, more dramatic place, from the emotional landscape of a childhood shaped by intensity, silence, abuse, and things left unspoken.
It is not an attempt to recreate a particular memory, just reproductions of shadows from the past.
The black became a language of its own: depth, tension, mystery, and the quiet strength that can emerge from what we carry.
Some darkness stays with us, and if we are lucky, some of it becomes art.
